Wall Mural at Doktortjønna

In January–February 2026, I completed a mural at Doktortjønna commissioned by Rørosmuseet. The project was developed in close collaboration with the museum, with a strong focus on historical context and storytelling.

The mural features a stylised landscape representing the culture and history of the Røros region, with references to mining traditions, rural life, and Sámi understandings of nature throughout the four seasons.

The mural was designed to be experienced both from a distance and up close, with details that follow the staircase and invite exploration.

The project was officially opened on February 21 during Rørosmartnan.
